I've been away on holiday!
I spent a few days in Rome with my mum, which was lovely. Highlights definitely included the Roman Forum, the Vatican Museum and the Mamertine Prison, where the apostles Peter and Paul were imprisoned.
We also visited the Pantheon, and the nearby Basillica Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, which was really beautiful and had a beautiful paintings and sculptures, which we were recommended to see by a lovely person I met online who's living over there.
I'm on a bit of a quest at the minute to be less reliant on my phone, by getting rid of social media apps, having physical notebooks and alarm clocks, and generally trying to spend less time sitting around consuming content and more time making fun things. Like this website!
This is a big overhaul from the previous version of the site, which was very much built from the ground up without any experience (see below image for reference). Instead, I've started this one using a layout made by Itinerae, which I've adapted a lot to work for my needs. I'm currently aiming to finish setting up a sidebar, boxes that are more aesthetically pleasing and a few other bits before making this version live.
